CoSDEO 2020: 7th Workshop on Context Systems Design, Evaluation and Optimization - Welcome and Committees

On behalf of the CoSDEO 2020 Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the seventh CoSDEO Workshop in conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications (PerCom 2020). This year's edition focuses on Privacy and security in digital assistants. This years program has selected exciting papers embracing a diverse perspectives across the field.

Putting together CoSDEO 2020 has been a huge team effort and we have been lucky to have the support from a great TPC constituted from well recognized and experienced scientists in the field. A special thank goes also to the PerCom 2020 workshop chairs, Amy Murphy and Edison Thomaz who have supported us excellently throughout the whole process.

Regarding the submission and review process for CoSDEO 2020, each paper was reviewed by at least three to six technical program committee (TPC) members. This year, after a highly competetive review process, 3 excellent papers were finally selected for inclusion at the workshop. We have further improved the workshop by including three invited talks, one position talk, as well as a Keynote presentation. The topics of the papers reflect the wide spectrum research around usable security and more specifically around Privacy and Security in digital assistants.

We hope that you will find this program interesting and thought-provoking and that the workshop will provide you with a valuable opportunity to share ideas with other researchers and practioners from institutions around the world.
