PerCom Demos 2020: 18th Annual IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications Demonstrations - Welcome and Committees

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the PerCom Demo session that will be part of the 18th IEEE Pervasive Computing and Communication (PerCom) conference in Austin, Texas.

The PerCom Demo session provides a venue for the latest breakthroughs in pervasive computing to be presented live to the research community. PerCom Demos include examples of working prototypes, novel applications, groundbreaking ideas, and live experiments related to PerCom topics. This year we had 10 demo papers submitted and 8 of them have been accepted by the committee. These papers address important problems in several application domains ranging from IoT, multimodal traffic, mobile devices, and mobile health. During PerCom, one of the selected demos will receive the "Best Demo Award" on the basis of its research value, originality, and presentation.

We thank all the authors who submitted their innovative demo papers to PerCom this year, and the program committee members for volunteering their time and hard for the benefit of the PerCom community by providing high quality reviews.
