PerCom PhD Forum 2020: 18th Annual IEEE International Conference on Pervasive Computing and Communications PhD Forum - Welcome and Committees
We are pleased to welcome you to the 2020 IEEE PerCom PhD Forum. This PhD Forum provides an opportunity for promising students in pervasive computing and communications to present and receive feedback on their research. The Forum is organized as a co-located PerCom workshop attended by experts in the field. The meeting is supplemented by a one-minute-madness session as well as a poster session during the main conference, which offers the possibility for extended interaction between PhD student participants and researchers from academia, industry, and government. During the workshop, senior members of the community provide constructive technical comments to each attendee. This format allows the students to work in collaboration with experts to craft their research vision and plan. This year, after a careful review process, we accepted 11 students to participate in the forum. These students come from 5 different countries around the world. The proceedings include a two-page abstract for each accepted submission. We thank all of the authors for their participation in the PhD Forum. Additional thanks go to the experts for providing valuable feedback to our students on their research.
